Please visit ER asap to exclude meningitis, a possible complication of mastoid infection.

I called the ambulance Thursday evening after I vomited and blood came from my ear and they said my vitals were fine alto ugh they could see I'm clearly not. How do they check for meningitis and why wouldn't they have checked for hat before I've been in and out of A&E for the past two months the now.

Clinically neck stiffness is tested by making one touch chin to chest. Lumbar tap is final confirmation.
