Hello,
I have a rash on my eyelid that won't go away. The skin is quite dry, I have been keeping it moisturised which helps but still has not got rid of it

I live in Nepal normally and think it might be a reaction to pollution or dust

Can you please send a picture ?

Here is a photo of my eye

Thanks for sharing

Yes it seems like an allergic rash

You can apply an emollient like vaseline or Petroleum jelly

If it does not go away in few days then you can use a mild steroid like 1% hydrocortisone over this area

I asked at the pharmacy and they said that I would need a prescription to get a steroid based cream
I have been using an emollient for a few weeks now

1% hydrocortisone is available over the counter without any prescription
