Ask a Doctor and Get an Answer to Your Medical Question ASAP
Hello , i am Dr Saleem . Welcome to JustAnswer . I will be answering your shortly
Please describe your issue
Do you take any medicines regularly ? Do you smoke ? Any heartburn or acidity ?
How much alcohol do you consume ?
Any gums or teeth issues ? How is your general oral hygiene ?any recent ear , nose or throat infections?
Do you use a mouth wash ? For how long has this been an issue now?
Ok. You can use mouth wash for a week and brush your teeth twice a day . Salivary gland inflammation can cause this but it usually resolves spontaneously . Just take good care of oral hygiene .
Just relax , its nothing serious . Should resolve in a couple of days . No longterm issues .
It can occur like any other viral or bacterial infection . Predisposing factors include poor oral hygiene or food stuck within the teeth .
Hope it answers your query.
