Hi. My daughter who is 12 years old appears to have vaginal thrush with possible ulcers, possibly from scratching. she is in a lot of discomfort and the clotrimazole has not helped at all after applying it 3 tims. is there anything you can recommend
JA: Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
Customer: went to see a GP today. Was useless didn't even examine her. But did take a urine sample and prescribed Clotrimazole #
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: no history of anything. she is not sexually active

If Clotrimazole hasnt improved it then its recommended to give oral Fluconazole 150mg . She should be seen by a doctor for confirming the diagnosis . I hope there are no safeguarding issues with your daughter as its slightly unusual .

I don't think so and hope not. I will take her to a doctor again tomorrow.
