Assistant: Is this a time sensitive issue? What type of specimen are they testing?
Customer: He didn't even say... just said we need to carry out blood test
Assistant: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: Because she's not been eating alot she's opening bowls after 3 to 4 days... she's been given movicol

Hi, thanks, ***** ***** your query, will be replying in few seconds please. DrVasavada

A virus condition cures within a week so any illness beyond is due to some other reason. Please try multivitamin supplement and ciproheptadine for appetite, to be given twice before meals. Also get urine tested, privately, getting other tests done too.

Thankyou doctor for ypur reply... can I get other test done here??

You are welcome. Yes a private lab will do tests same day from single blood sample.

Please can so advice me on how and where the blood sample be done... also how much will it cost? What will be looked into the bloodtests thankyou

Blood can be collected at lab, from a vein. Cost can be inquired from lab before test procedure. The gp request for tests will list the tests to be performed.
