It is an infection which is sexually transmitted and require treatment with antibiotic

The most commonly prescribed antibiotic for this condition is single dose Ceftriaxone and azithromycin

Does 400mg dosage of cefixime treat gonorrhoea?

It is not the first line treatment but it can be used if Ceftriaxone is unavailable but it has to be combined with Azithromycin

Yes Ceftriaxone is an injection and even it has to be combined with Azithromycin

And if Ceftrixone not available then Cefixime plus Azithromycin

No if you take one antibiotic it is unlikely to be treated completely

So a combination of antibiotic is preferred

What’s the percentages of passing on gonorrhoea during sex ?

If you have sex with woman having gonorrhea so after a single act the risk is around 20%

In case if a female have sex with male who has gonorrhea the risk to female is around 80%

Can these tablets be crushed up and put in a drink ?

No Azithromycin can not be crushed up or diluted in any drink

And Ceftriaxone is an injection

But Cefixime can be diluted in water
