Ask a Doctor and Get an Answer to Your Medical Question ASAP
Hello! My name is Dr.Ehtisham. Welcome to JustAnswer. I'm reviewing your question now, and will post back with your reply momentarily.
So what are the symptoms you are currently suffering?
When it occurred?
What is the total duration of these symptoms ?
And when you get the tests done?
And which tests were done?
Thanks for the details
If the joint pain and swelling is still present and the tests are all negative then there are two possibilities
Either it is a seronegative arthritis in which all the above tests can be normal
Other possibility could be a functional disorder like Fibromyalgia
You must have a repeat test specially ESR and CRP
If that are normal then you can have a trial of treatment with Duloxetine for fibromyalgia
Please do let me know if you have any other question
I am happy that my interaction was helpful for you and put your mind at ease. In future you can opt me as your favorite medical expert so that you can ask me a question directly. I will be happy to help anytime.
Kind regards - Dr Sumanth Amperayani
