Hi there, my name is ***** ***** I am 19 years old. I am on the contraceptive pill and have been since I was 16. I have never had any problems with my period while being on it. They have always come on time. I had a usually period but when I started the new pack of pills I started my period again half way through taking these pills which has never happened before. Just wondering wether this is soemthing I should be concerned about?
Assistant: Are you in any pain? How regular are your periods?
Customer: no pain, I take my pills for three weeks then I come off them for a week and have a period
Assistant: Anything else in your medical history you think the Doctor should know?
Customer: Nothing no

This is Dr. David. I am reviewing your question now and will be with you momentarily.

it sounds like your body needs to get use to your new birth control pills.

I would not worry.

I bet it will get better with more time on your new pills.

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
I am not on new pills, I have been on these pills 3 years

oh, you just started a new pack of pills.

I would not worry

sometimes sharing toilets or bathrooms with other women can cause you to be exposed to other women's hormones which can change your period.

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
I also do not share a bathroom with anyone else

So should I not worry?

you should not worry.

I bet your period will come back and become regular again in time.
