I am 34. Nothing only blood tests have been taken. No one has indicated to me that there is a problem however I am fairly sure it is with sodium. Mebeverine. I am due to have a colonscoopy next week. I have had symptoms of dirrehea, maldigeston and stomach cramps for previous 6 weeks.

You may get a serum sodium estimation.

You may also have autoimmune panel and hormone panel done for the evaluation of these symptoms.

Serum cortisol is a sodium regulator and that may give you the diagnosis.

How would I obtain that? Could it be seen in previous blood tests.
Expert:  Dr. Arun Phophalia replied 7 days ago.

Yes, it may have been done. So see your previous reports.
