Hello! My name is Dr.Ehtisham. Welcome to JustAnswer. I'm reviewing your question now, and will post back with your reply momentarily.

Expert:  DR. EHTISHAM replied 14 days ago.

It can be linked as infection can pass on to nearby structures

Another possibility could be a side effect or allergic reaction to the medicine you are taking for gingivitis

You can take an anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen and hopefully lip swelling will go down with it

Please do let me know if you have any other question

I’m taking Corsodyl mouthwash 2 times a day that’s all
Expert:  DR. EHTISHAM replied 14 days ago.

So it is likely a part of your gingivitis and Ibuprofen will help
