What exactly is your question?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Hello Dr. Ehtisham, I’ve experienced a swollen labia. I was experiencing itching since last night and now the itching has stopped but the swelling has appeared

Are you sexually active?

Any pain in the labia?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
I am sexually active. There is no pain, just the swelling.

Can you please attach a picture for review?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
I’m not comfortable with doing that, would it be ok if I explain to you?

Yes sure

Since how long you have this problem?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
About an hour
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Only the right side of the labia is swollen, it’s maybe double in size and slightly red

Did you have any sex recently?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
last night

Thanks for the details

There are two main possibilities

Either it is due to the sex last night causing trauma and now the swelling

This can occur with a yeast infection too

You just need to use an anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen to get rid of the redness and swelling

If it does not improve in next couple of days then you will need to use an anti-fungal cream like Canesten

Please do let me know if you have any other question

Thank you, that’s very helpful! Can I get Canesten over the counter?

You are welcome
