My mom can’t stop coughing she is 80 years old. She has inhaler. It pretty bad when she eats food
Hi. How long has your mom been coughing? Does she have a fever? Is she short of breath? What medical problems does she have?
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
She been coughing months, she has not got a fever, she’s not short of breath, medical issue high blood pressure
She been doctors about it numerous times they give her medicine but it does not work

This could be due to incoordination in swallowing food causing aspiration into windpipe, so try to feed small portions and be careful while swallowing. May use codeine tablet once before bed. If there is productive cough with sputum, may use steam inhalation and try to clear airway by inverting position of head to below torso, lying on tummy and lowering head toward floor thumping lightly over upper back.

Good luck.
