The only issue is this has been going on for over 3 weeks now and I live in a very small town that’s had quite a big covid 19 outbreak and I’m worried for my children they are 5 and 2

I understand your concern.

As it has been 3 weeks for your symptoms and COVID 19 symptoms get worse within a few days after initial symptoms.

Currently, no antiviral medication is recommended to treat COVID-19. Treatment is directed at relieving symptoms and may include:

Pain relievers (ibuprofen or acetaminophen)
Cough syrup or medication
Fluid intake

Try such measures as we discussed earlier.

If your shortness of breath gets worse then see a doctor ASAP.
