Hello, my 17 year old daughter had a rash on the underside of her breast under the nipple which she said us itchy , it is dry and dark. What could be the cause please?
JA: How long have you been dealing with this? Does anything in particular seem to make the itch better or worse?
Customer: She noticed it last week, she has been using sudacream
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the Doctor should know?
Customer: She has had a bacterial rash on her face previously and received a prescription for that which cleared. But she is worrying herself that the rash is something to do with cancer

Got it.

Please wait.

I am writing the answer.

Thank you for your patience.

Thank you for waiting.

I am very sorry for her symptoms.

I understand your concern.

The itching, rash in that area is likely due to fungal infection.

It usually occurs due to sweating or moisture.

Other probable is dermatitis, allergy.

It does not look like cancer.

I feel you need not worry.

She needs to keep the area dry and cool & use cotton and loose underwear.

She can apply antifungal cream or spray like clotrimazole.

Boots antifungal cream can be applied.

It may take a week or more to show significant improvement.

Hydrocortisone cream can be added too.

Benadryl or claritin can be taken for itching.

If you do not see any improvement, I would advise to take an examination by doctor.

I hope this information will be helpful.
