A week ago I got out of bed on one foot and heard a crack/pop sound. It was okay the next day, I went for a walk a few days ago and ever since my outside ankle has a dull ache, it radiates upto my calf like a shooting pain and then to my hamstrings sometimes .
What is it?
JA: How long have you had the pain? What seems to make the pain better or worse?
Customer: I’ve had it for 3-4 days now. Walking and resting makes it worse
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the Doctor should know?
Customer: nope

Any swelling in the foot or ankle?

Just a radiating pain from the ankle to calf. And sometimes random shooting pains in the calf and hamstring

Thanks for the details

There is a possibility of damage to the nerve in ankle region

It can happen with traumatic injuries

You should use Ibuprofen and apply Capsaicon cream over the ankle area

You should also have physiotherapy

This will get better in 2-3 weeks

Please do let me know if you have any other question
