I am a tree surgeon as well ans cut down alot of conifers recently which contain alor of dustBut never suffered from hay fever before

Thanks for the details

This cough is likely due to acid reflux

You need to use Lansoprazole and a cough suppressant like Mucinex

You should avoid smoking and heavy meals

Do regular exercise and have your last meal at least 3 hours before sleeping

Hopefully that will help in settling the symptoms

Please do let me know if you have any other question
