Thanks a lot for your input. I am sorry to hear about your problem. I am going to address your primary concern but later you can ask anything you want. This is most likely Tinea Versicolor which is basically a type of fungal infection. Sometimes certain vitamin deficiencies can also cause this. I would suggest her to apply over the counter available Clotrimazole cream twice daily on the face for 2 weeks and take a multivitamin tablet daily for a month. Hopefully, she is going to be alright. If symptoms persist, she should see a doctor but hopefully, that will not be required. This doesn't look like vitiligo so there is no need to worry. I wish her good luck and that she gets well soon. My goal is to provide you with excellent service – if you feel you have received anything less, please reply back as I am happy to address follow-up questions. Kindly rate me when you are done. You can come back here to ask anything even after you have rated the answer. I will be glad to help you always. A 5-star rating is requested and will be appreciated. Regards

thank you so much for your help, I am glad it is not vitilgo however how would vitilgo usually be identified?

Vitiligo is mostly identified by its look and it's mostly whitish than what she has. Please try the cream and hope for the best. You are most welcome. My best wishes and prayers will be following you both for good health. Please remember to rate my answer as this is how we get compensated for our time and effort here for you.
