Hello! My name is***** to JustAnswer. I'm reviewing your question now, and will post back with your reply momentarily.

You are at high risk considering the long standing asthma

So you must stay isolated

You should ask your GP or call 111 for another isolation note

Please do let me know if you have any other question

Does that mean I cant return to my job any time soon and can I go out shopping

I think it will be a big risk as your lungs are not healthy so if you do catch the infection it can be serious one

Please do let me know if you have any other question

also my surgery saying it is between me and my employer not my gp to decide

I think you should call 111 before rejoining your job

I still feel that your risk is high as compared to a healthy individual of your age

So you can talk to your employer about this situation as well

Please do let me know if you have any other question
