I am Type 2 Diabetic and take metphormin 2 x 80mg Glicklazide Tablets .40 mg Atorvastatin 4mg Perindopril daily .
JA: The Doctor can help. To begin, how long have you been using Metformin? Has it helped at all?
Customer: I have used Metphormin for 12 years and it does seem to help .
JA: Thanks for that. Have you seen a doctor about diabetes?
Customer: Yes , I have a review and Blood Test every six months my last Hba1c was 55
JA: Thank you so much for your answers. Finally, is there anything else in your medical history the Doctor should know?
Customer: No , but this time before retiring I did consume a lot of peanuts !

Hello! My name is***** to JustAnswer. I'm reviewing your question now, and will post back with your reply momentarily.

Sorry to hear about this

Have you checked your blood pressure during episodes of dizziness?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.

How old are you?

So it just occurred only 2-3 times in last few years?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
May be I should talk with my own GP and ask him to check my blood pressure

Please ignore the phone call and continue chating here

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
I am 68 . Not obese . Cholesterol is 3
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
it only has occurred 2-3 times in the last few years .

Thanks for the details

If this dizziness occur only once or twice in a year so it is unlikely to be anything serious

This can occur with a high blood pressure or even a low blood pressure

Other possibility can be postural hypotension

I think you need to have your blood pressure monitored during these episodes

Also you should have some tests including ECG,CBC,ESR,CRP and electrolytes to make sure it is nothing concerning

Please do let me know if you have any other question
