Hi, are multiple menstrual cycles in one month common?
JA: Have you been keeping a personal medical record?
Customer: Yes
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the Doctor should know?
Customer: No, irregular cycles are normal for me. I am not concerned enough to bother my GP but what signs should I be looking for?

Hello! My name is***** to JustAnswer. I'm reviewing your question now, and will post back with your reply momentarily.

How old are you ?

Are you sexually active?

When you had the Pap smear?

Customer: replied 6 days ago.
24yrs old.
No, and no I haven’t.

Have you discussed this with your GP?

Customer: replied 6 days ago.
It’s come up now and then but not thoroughly.

This can be normal

Sometime this can occur with hormonal imbalance caused by polycstic ovarian syndrome

It can also be seen with infection or endometriosis

I think you should have an examination and some investigations including an ultrasound and female hormone test

But usually it is nothing serious '

Please do let me know if you have any other question
