How old are you ?

Do you have an ultrasound done ?

Customer: replied 11 days ago.
I’m 26.i have never had an ultrasound done

Thanks for the details

This can be due to hormonal imbalance

This can be caused by Polycystic ovarian syndrome

You should have an ultrasound and female hormone test

This may need to be treated with hormone replacement therapy

I want to go back on the gedarel pill ASAP though as I’m now sexually active and don’t want to get pregnant is that ok?
Customer: replied 11 days ago.
My doctor said if I’m not trying for a baby then I don’t need to find out about my irregular periods and can go back on the pill.

Yes that is fine to use

I do not need to do a PCOS test unless when I decide to come off the pill and want to try for a baby?

I think you can start the pill right away and at your convenience can have a test as well to see if there is PCOS or not

If there is no such evidence then you will not be having any issue coming off the pill and getting pregnant straight away

Ok my doctor said I couldn’t do the test while on gedarel pill?

You can have it

Other option is to do it now while you are already off and then start the pill

Otherwise start the pill and when you plan for pregnancy then go for a scan
