I have a bad swelling inside my mouth making it impossible

Customer Question

I have a bad swelling inside my mouth making it impossible for me to eat normally. My wife who is a trained nurse believes it to be sepsis. What should I do.
JA: How long have you had the swelling? Have you used any medication for it?
Customer: About three days. I have used bonjela
JA: Got it. Have you used anything besides bonjela for this?
Customer: Yes something my wife brought in but she has gone out and I can’t find it.
JA: Thank you so much for your time. Finally, is there anything else in your medical history you think the Doctor should know?
Customer: No. I am eighty years of age but have been generally healthy. This damage has made me a little dizzy and lethargic.

Since I have not heard back from you so I am giving you a general answer and you can come back for any further details

You most likely have an infection in the oral cavity

Sepsis is a very severe form of infection

I think you need an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory

That will help in getting rid of the infection

Not all infections leads to sepsis

And most of these infections are treated completely with antibiotic

My goal is to provide you with excellent service – if you feel you have received anything less, please reply back as I am happy to address follow-up questions. I will be glad to help you always.
