I burned my hand (fingers) with melted plastic. First action

i burned my hand (fingers) with melted plastic. First action was to hold it under tap water and then in a bucket with iced cold water. it happen just an hour ago. any advice?

You have done good measures. This is a superficial burn, so some skin may peel off or there may be blister formation.

You may apply petroleum jelly or Betadine solution on it.

You may contact the customer support for the financial issue.

A burn can itch as it heals. DO NOT scratch it or it will peel off the skin. There is a saying, the skin is the best dressing. If there is a blister formation, do not prick them open.
