Would welcome some advice. I stayed at a hotel last Saturday

Customer Question

Hi Doctor, would welcome some advice. I stayed at a hotel last Saturday night for a birthday and drank too much alcohol. I vommitted the next day twice. I’m still experiencing waves of nausea and today have felt worse than yesterday. I’m a coeliac and also dairy intolerant so I’m wondering could it be a stomach bug / allergic reaction (I did have some dairy)? It is unusual to experience hangover nausea 5 days later isn’t it? I’m don’t usually consume this amount of Alcohol (a gin tasting, red wine, then whiskey night caps) nor am I used to this weird nausea. Any advice would be just wonderful. Many thanks in advance, Maria

Thanks for all the input.

Well most likely you have develop gastritis as a result of excessive drinking of alcohol.

In the current scenario you need following treatment.

Cap Prilosac 40 mg once daily 30 min before dinner.

Tab dramamine twice daily for 3 days.

Drink green tea twice a day.

Avoid spicy food and drinking too much alcohal.

If you did not feel better after two doses of these otc medicines then seen your doctor physically.
