Hi there, wondering if you may help me at all please.
JA: Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
Customer: I had a daughter in July & I’m late for my period I’m on the pill, and have been on it for a good 3-4 months now, and I’ve noticed the past 2-3 days I’ve been spotting and I put a pad on and it’s coming out in clots..
JA: Are you in any pain? How regular are your periods?
Customer: they have always been irregular, yes I feel sick and have cramps and mood swings and back and head ache
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the Doctor should know?
Customer: I have mental health disorders

I was late one day taking the pill, instead off taking it in the morning I took it at night !

Hi there,
I am an experienced Medical Specialist.
I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.

This can be your period given lots of clots.

You can still take a pregnancy test --but it will likely be negative.

Thyroid gland disorder also can cause this.

Please check your thyroid panel as well.
Best wishes,
Please reply back if you need any further clarification.
It was my pleasure to help you today.

It was negative, I don’t know if it was to early to test.

When did you check?

Customer: replied 7 days ago.
Only did the test yesterday morning
Customer: replied 7 days ago.
I was spotting for 2 days and came out in clots and wasn’t exactly heavy

Ok --then this is reliable test.

Given your history of irregular periods, the flow may not always be same.

Also medications you are currently on can impact your period by changing hormone balance.

In aware of this, thankyou.
It just doesn’t add up to me that’s all and I’m scared & confused

I also suggest a pelvic exam and a pelvic ultrasound to check for uterus lining and fibroid which can cause irregular menses.

How would I go about that

Please see your doctor or a gynecologist.
