JA: How long have you been dealing with the issue? In general, how has your health been lately?
Customer: I felt it there all day but not as like it is now sorry I live on my own too

Well, Your symptoms are suggestive of acid reflux disease and gastritis.

It can cause pain in the middle of the chest.

You need to make some dietary changes along with medications. Avoid chocolate fatty foods, coffee, and alcoholic beverages. Avoid beans, cabbage, and carbonated beverages. If you are overweight, lose some weight.

You should avoid smoking( if you do)

You should always drink up to eight glasses of water a day.

You should remain away from stress and anxiety. Start practicing Yoga and meditation. Deep breathing exercises and relaxation techniques will be helpful.

You can elevate the head end of the bed by 8 inches.It would be helpful.

You should avoid these-

beans, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, sprouts, onions, and garlic.

You can eat lean meats, cold-water fish, tofu, beans, olive oil.

Also, you should eat meals at least 2 to 3 hours before bedtime.

Take Syp. Pepto-Bismol 2tsf thrice a day after meals.

You can take acid blockers like- Lansoprazole/Prilosec/Nexium

A healthy diet is very necessary to be free from such symptoms.

Usually with these tips, in 1-2 weeks, you will be free from symptoms.

I don't take medication or drink coffee it's just my chest felt tight like a nott there no pain and I can't seem to shif it off my mind

The cause can be traumatic or inflammatory and not something of cardiac origin.
It can occur with a muscle pull or nerve compression.

Please don't worry at all, this is not related to a heart issue, You would be safe.

You can take OTC Ibuprofen twice a day, and take adequate rest.

I reassure, that you would be safe, please don't get panic.

In a few days, such symptoms would get resolved.
