I have had a swollen stomach for the last week which keeps getting bigger a and e said its not normal but its not life threatening so they won't deal with it and to go to the gp but they never have any appointments
JA: How long has this been bothering you? Are you experiencing any vomiting or nausea?
Customer: About a week and I'm vomiting pretty much everything I eat or drink but my bloods are fine so it can't be life threatening

What are the investigations done?

Do you have increased urinary frequency, urinary burning, heartburn, diarrhea/constipation, nausea, fever, loss of appetite, bloating, gas, burping, tenderness on the abdomen?

Tender stomach I am 23 year old female just finished uti tablets I get uti a lot and a and e do bare minimum and GPS were meant to get back to me today but havent

Your symptoms can be due to;



Hiatal hernia

Gallbladder disease.

You need an ultrasound and a HIDA scan for the evaluation.

Meanwhile, the following would help you;

1) Bismuth subsalisylate

2) Lansoprazole

3) Dimenhydrinate.

4) Liquids only; coconut water, electrolyte solution, diluted fresh juice.
