This answer was rated:

Can tinnitus be cured or treated with Psilocybin mushrooms. There seems to be overwhelming evidence of this online. ?

Good afternoon, I am Dr Ruff, thank you for contacting us today

There is no current agreed proof that this can cure tinnitus. Therefore what you read can be from case studies or individual reports.

So the official line is no, they do not sorry.

Are there any groundbreaking treatments conventional or otherwise to try. Anything on the horizon?

Unfortunately not. Tinnitus is often down to nerve damage, therefore therapies being looked into are more about masking the symptoms you are aware of. Therefore there are a number of devices that can do this.

No thanks everything has been answered The questions were in relation to my brothers long standing problem with tinnitus which was brought on by chemo treatment over a decade ago. He has tried all treatments to no avail. Just thinking outside the box .

Okay thanks, ***** ***** be such a challenge. Have a look at some electronic devices, but be cautious as they will often suggest that they are far better than they are - not to say they won't work well for your brother.
