Customer Question

I have been diagnosed with multiple gallstones via an ultrascan..I am in pain 24/7 and have been for two weeks solid. My doctor has referred me to a surgeon but I have been told this could be weeks if not months away. In the meantime I have been told to take painkillers which have no effect.
JA: How long have you been using the painkiller? Has it helped at all?
Customer: 1week and not at all the pain is quite bad
JA: Got it. Have you used anything besides the painkiller for this?
Customer: no
JA: Thank you so much for your time. Finally, is there anything else in your medical history you think the Doctor should know?
Customer: i have had a minor stroke and my gait and balance are not good

Thanks for using just answer

If you're are in pain due to gallstones, then you should be in ED as these cases usually need emergency surgery to remove the gallbladder.

Or your GP can refer you directly to the surgeons in hospital to be seen today.
