Good morning, I am Dr Ruff, thank you for contacting us today
If this is still happening, you should attend an A&E.
With excessive vomiting, you can cause a small tear in the oesophagus that can bleed, you also have vessels in the oesophagus that can bleed.
If you regularly drink alcohol, then definitely go to A&E as you are at higher risk of these vessels. If not, and this is not a common occurrence, if the vomiting has settled, this is fine, buy esomeprazole from a pharmacy and take for the next few weeks. If however there is regular blood please go to A&E to get started on medications sooner.
