I am sorry if this has happened to you. In answer to your question, yes, anything away from your birth plan is technically a complication.

Thank you as an ANP this is what I thought. Its on my medical record but my insurance company want a medical professional to write a letter to say an emergency c section is a complication is there any private services you know of who provide this?
