JA: Got it. Have you used anything besides Penicillin for this?
Customer: nothing this time, tried to gargle with salt water etc but as i am getting married this weekend i am on a time constraint
JA: Thank you so much for your time. Finally, is there anything else in your medical history you think the Doctor should know?

Are you able to send prescriptions?
Expert:  Zee J replied 17 days ago.

Tonsillitis could be recurrent if not treated properly with targeted treatment for the bacteria causing it. So you need to have a swab first before getting antibiotics.

We cannot give any prescription without doing full physical examination first. It could be some virus there in which case giving antibiotics will not help.
