If it is small bump probably not concerning --sebaceous cyst form commonly from oil gland.
ok that is likely sebaceous cyst --a pic would have been better for confirmation.
You should see your doctor for confirmation, although i do not see any urgency for that
it can remain for 5-8 weeks but will be same size or shrink without any squeezing
Treatment requires combination approach as detailed below:Over the counter options:1. Benzoyl peroxide 5% cream can be applied daily over the affected areas daytime.and2. Adapalene gel ( Differin) can be applied at night time to reduce inflammation and scarring.Treatment needs to be continued for at least 4 weeks.
