This answer was rated:

my wife has fallen and injured her wrist. What should I do?
JA: How long has your wife had the injury? Has she used any medication for it?
Customer: She has had the fall 30 mins ago. She is on medication for osteoporosis
JA: Got it. Has she seen a doctor about the injury?
Customer: No
JA: Thank you so much for your time. Finally, is there anything else in her medical history you think the Doctor should know?
Customer: No

Please check if she is able to move the wrist.

If not, and swelling getting worse, then likely wrist fracture.

That will need to be confirmed by Xrays at the local hospital.

Please apply lot of ice and immobilize the wrist with a brace or splint.

Ibuprofen can be taken for pain control 600 mg every 8 hours with food
