My mother (57 years old) has swollen, itchy spots on her

This answer was rated:

Hi,My mother (57 years old) has swollen, itchy spots on her left ankle since yesterday. Today, she also noticed a spot on her forehead and the area around it is swollen as well. She hit her forehead to the cupboard 2 days ago, therefore she first thought the swelling is due to the injury but then she noticed the spot but it is not itchy like the ones on her ankle. What does she need to do?

Are these itchy spots?

Customer: replied 10 days ago.
The ones on her ankle are itchy but the one on her forehead is not.

The ankle ones are atopic dermatitis related bumps.

Topical steroid can be used

Hydrocortisone is over the counter --apply twice daily for 10 days.

Regarding forehead, looks like hitting from cupboard related.

She can apply topical analgesic gel like diclofenac 1% 2 times daily for resolution
