Respected customer, this is vertigo.
Benign Paroxysmal positional vertigo or BPPV is the most common cause of vertigo. Infection. A viral infection of the vestibular nerve, called vestibular neuritis, can cause intense, constant vertigo.Ear build up can happen after a viral infection like COVID-19.
It is important to make sure there is no serious underlying cause especially at your age like stroke and arythmia.
I would recommend to try over the counter medications like dimenhydrinate (Dramamine) and meclizine (Bonine). These medications should help.
If you have other symptoms like chest pain, palpitations, shortness of breath or muscle weakness, please go to ER.
If the symptoms persist, please make an appointment with your doctor for evaluation.
I hope it helps.
Let me know if you have any questions please.
