Hello, pain on the left side under the ribs. Come and go, pain. Could it be stomach? If yes, can I check this by having an ultrasound?

Yes this can be from the stomach.  Ultrasound can see the stomach but whether would be helpful, seems unlikely

OK. Please start esomeprazole Once a day for 2 weeks. Stomach is seen by an endoscopy. Blood tests don't show anything. I don't think an endoscopy is required at the moment

Hello, at night I could not sleep. My heart was pounding like crazy. I felt pain on my left side, the same side I could not lie down and sleep on. When I took a breath, it was painful on this side only. Is it heart or lungs or stomach or something else? In addition to that, bloating. Also, while I was on Prednisolone (Dermatomyositis), this medication was very helpful, but since I stopped taking it as per the dermatologist, this pain is coming back.

Can start the prednisone after discussion with your dermatologist.  

Add in diclofenac 50mg twice a day for the pain in addition to esomeprazole .
