bloodshot eyes and pounding headache are definitely a cause for concern

With this, I wouldnt hesitate and head straight to the emergency department for further face to face assessment

I cannot tell you that aftershave is the cause of your symptoms

I've been swelling my eye with cold water alot in case if Was that. Could that also play a part in the blood shot eye ?

I've never heard of cold water causing  red eye. Like I said based on your symptoms, you needto get checked out especially due to the headache you're experiencing.

If you dont want to do so, you can take some paracetamol and ibuprofen and see how you feel
