Hi, I have a small lump in my nose just inside the nostril, its only on one side.
JA: How long have you had the lump? Have you used any medication for it?
Customer: noticed it around 12 days ago, doctor gave antibiotics for it over the phone without having a look (4th day in and nothing has changed)
JA: Got it. Have you used anything besides the antibiotics for this?
Customer: nope not used anything else.

It could be a nasal polyp and if the antibiotics are not helping, you should contact your GP on Monday for a referral to ENT.

For now, you can try over the counter Avamys or Naseptin which can help.

dont nasal polyps happen on both sides ? also this is right at the front just before the inferior turbinate.

No, nasal polys can occur in one nostril as well. From the picture, it looks like a nasal polyp.

Okay Dr Geyik, I hope it is only just a nasal polyp because been worrying. Ill try and book in an appointment with my GP on monday but since coronavirus they dont even bother to give appointments its only over the phone but ill see what they say.
