I’ve had diarrhoea for 5 days, no vomiting. It’s now just water up to 10 times a day. I feel very weak.
JA: Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?
Customer: No, my GP is email only. No meds.

Thank you for waiting.I am very sorry for your symptoms.I understand your concern.There can be a few causes.In most cases it is viral. It usually gets over in 2- 3 days.Sometimes bacterial & other infections can be there.
Indigestion is a possibility too.
Please try to take plenty of fluid & electrolytes like oral rehydration fluid, gatorade.This would prevent dehydration.Please take bland, soft diet.
Rice, banana, toast can be taken.
You can take over the counter peptobismol now.It will reduce diarrhea.If you do not notice improvement, I would advise to take an examination by doctor. Stool testing, blood work can be taken.
