Ears feel are in pain. They always feel under pressure and as if they need to be popped. Hurt a lot and feel more under pressure when exposure to loud noises, like music. Also hear crackling noises from them. Has been like this for about 6 + months

Nope, but whenever my ears start to hurt a lot i can feel it down the side of my neck then i will get ill shortly after

It sounds like an eustachian tube dysfunction.  A tube connecting the middle ear to the pharynx which equalises the pressure in the middle ear

Yes because if the pressure isn't equilibirated then it will feel worse like because of loud music..

Need to ask your GP for an ent referral. Meanwhile start a nasal steroid spray 2 puffs 8 hrly and tab cetrizine 10mg once a day. Use for 8 weeks. Let me know the response by end of 4 weeks
