Having problems with C class 180 komp reg 2004(54)
Problem is excessive travel of brake pedal on first application, then pedal can be pumped up. New master cylinder fitted also new pressure valve, brakes have been bled 3 times plus once at master cylinder,
Has anyone had this problem, and what was the soloution?
Any ideas on this one.

in order to get all the air out of the system you'll need to cycle the ABS pump whilst bleeding it

this can be done either by plugging in a dealer level diagnostic tool which can then run the pump, or take the car for a drive and brake as hard as you can in order to get the ABS to run

then go and bleed the brakes again

naturally the former is the preferred method
