Hi there! I have a Mercedes-Benz Vaneo 1.7CDi and the locking system is faulty. My car is locked only when I press twice the locking button on the remote or I turn the key twice in the lock. What is that means?

Hello, welcome. My name isXXXXX will do my very best to
assist you with your question.

The main reason that this happens is because the drivers side door lock actuator is failing which directly results in the problem that you are having. This is a common problem and replacing the actuator solves the issue. The actuator is located inside of the door.
