not the answer I was looking for, however there does seen to be some mystery regarding this connection in the glove compartment. Thank you for you efforts.

Hello Walter

there should be a standard 12V / lighter socket

is this not the case?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

Hi Matt,

I know I have a lighter connection, but my question relates to the jack point in my glove compartment. According to Mercedes there are three posible types of cable 1) socket for jack plug, 3.5mm, e.g. for MP3 players

2) iPod socket for connection of an iPod .

3) USB socket for connecting supported USB devices.

Each of the cable have one end for connecting to the Audio20 Aux jack in the glove compartment.

I just do not seem to find any company that supplies these cables.

Hello Walter

there's a couple of cables you buy from mercedes

On the W203 C Class for chassis number A907502 (14th March 2006) and before part number A210 440 50 05 is used (which is the same as the older COMAND 2.0 cable).

From Chassis number A097503 part number A203 440 18 08 is used

so yours should be the latter part
