Such symptoms can be caused by aged transmission fluid, causing friction in torque converter. I recommend to have the transmission fluid with filter replaced and the transmission control unit's adaptations reset. This can be done at a workshop equipped with Xentry diagnostics computer- some idependent MB shops have this tool besides authorized dealers
