Car (SL 320 ) stood in garage , remote won't open it because of flat battery and back up keys stolen in a burglary 18 months ago. Do I have to read window

I'd start by charging the battery and as you can't get into the car/ boot the other way to do this is jack the car up so you can get under the front.

Locate the starter motor and the large power cable that runs to it - connect the positive battery charger lead to this terminal

then connect the charger negative lead to the metal of the engine block

This should complete the charging circuit and get some power into the battery allowing you into the car

Hello George

is the garage a single vehicle lock up that are very narrow?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Yes and car is in park mode

OK in that case I'd suggest getting a small trolley ***** *****ke this

this are small enough to manhandle and lift over the car so you can get down the front and then get the car's nose high enough to access the starter underneath
