I have an e250 sport which has a rear door which does not open.
I have booked it in for next week but they cannot give me any idea of the labour involved can you help
Most likely the door lock is faulty and needs to be replaced. Standard flat rate for this is 1,5 hours. But it is valid when the door can be opened.
How to open a door in such situation is not described. Door trim panel might need to be gutted out in worst case scenario. In such situation, i would think that 3 to 5 labor hours would be a reasonable time to solve the issue.
Maybe the workshop will find a quick way to open the door and 2 labor hours will be enough to solve the issue.
