Customer Question

I have an S320 CDi 2004. The boot doesn't open with either key or remote or from interior switch. Any ideas as to how to fix this?

Hello,The central locking is operated by a pneumatic module in the boot. If it detects that it takes too long for any of the central locking actuators to build up pressure or vacuum in them-they are blocked off. When the voltage supply is interrupted to the pneumatic module- this blockage is removed. It is possible to do that by removing fuse 62 in the rear seat bench fuseboxSo try removing this fuse for few minutes - usually the central locking starts to work.
