Problem with opening roof. Stage 1, all windows, open

Hi, Hi , problem with opening roof. Stage 1, all windows, open satisfactorily. Stage 2, open boot from rear, tries yo open on right ,but fans to open on left. hasn't been used for some time, could something somewhere be stuck? Any ideas please?
