I have installed Microsoft Office 365 on my computer. When I try to go into OneNote I get an error message saying "This page isn't available yet. It was added from another device that didn't finish syncing. You'll be able to use it when the other device syncs."" I had already uninstalled OneNote from the other computer. I put it back and got the same message there. The old computer is Windows 8 and the new one is Windows 7 - yes I've gone backwards.

Is this occurring when you open a particular notebook, one that you have saved previously?

ok, do the following John.

Download this file to completly uninstall Office.

Once you have run it and the uninstall is complete, restart the computer.

Install Office again and tell me if it now allows you to open One Note please.

Close all programs.

Please click on Start->All Programs->Accessories, then right-click on Command Prompt and click on Run as administrator.

Type in the following

ren %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneNote\15.0\OneNoteOfflineCache.onecache OneNoteOfflineCache.onecache.bak

Press enter and make sure it does not error (tell me if it does).

Then restart the computer and tell me please if One Note then opens.

Hello Richard,


When I obtained support for you on the 21st I kept getting a message saying someone else had registered my e-mail address, they hadn't but I had registered before. Admin can't see where my payment has gone to you. Can you check to see if you have received it? If not, I'll do what I can to put it right.


If's there's an ID number or something you use with JustAnswer that would be helpful, or you could just contact admin and tell them you are the one if you haven't been paid. My apology for the inconvenience caused.
